Hello, and welcome! I’m Rebecca—the teacher, performer, and songwriter behind it all.
With years of experience in teaching, performing, recording, and writing, I bring not just professional skill but also a deep love for music into every lesson. Evergreen Music isn’t your typical studio—it’s something much more personal. As a one-teacher business, I’m able to offer a warm, individualized approach, tailoring each lesson to fit the unique goals of every student. And because Evergreen is mobile, I can bring the joy of music right to you—whether that’s in your home, with a homeschool group, or in a space that fits your busy schedule. My vision is simple: to create a space where music is nurtured, encouraged, and celebrated—where students of all ages and stages can grow, thrive, and discover the joy of making music.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me outdoors, daydreaming about the NC mountains, playing music just for fun, or spending time with family and friends. My faith is also a central part of my life and my biggest inspiration for starting Evergreen Music. After months of prayer, I felt God nudging me with a simple thought: “Why not help others by doing what you love?” I believe music lessons can be about so much more than just notes and rhythms. Sometimes, it’s about being the brightest part of someone’s day. I’ve always loved teaching, but the traditional classroom wasn’t where I was meant to be. I thrive in one-on-one and small group settings, where I can connect deeply, share my love of music, and hopefully be a light in someone’s life.
So that’s what Evergreen Music is all about—growing together, through music, one song at a time.
